Dublin’s own Dermot Kennedy is causing a lot of chatter in the twitter sphere lately, and its not surprising. Kennedy is a singer/songwriter whose vocal cords could very well a G.M.O. spliced from Jack Garrett and Ed Sheeran! Seriously though, Kennedy’s newest single “Glory” gave our staff GOOSEBUMPS when first played. This is Raw, Emotion Driven, Talent.

Post Malone might be trading in that gold grill for a more appropriate platinum one. It seems as though the eccentric hip-hop rooted rising star Post Malone has struck a chord with his audience. Malone’s debut album “Stoney”  just passed 1 million in sales this past week and dosent seem to be slowing any time soon. Riding the momentum of his recent success, Malone gave up the name for his upcoming summer project ‘Beerbongs and Bentleys’, due to come out this June.

Logic’s Back, And He Has Something To Say To EVERYBODY!

“Music knows no color”. A simple yet powerful statement from the young, light skinned Maryland rapper [XXL]. Logic dives head first into the racial abyss that currently surrounds our culture with his newest release “Everybody”. The appropriately titled track is also the title of his third studio album, which is set to hit the shelves May 5th, 2017. The hard hitting production grips you right out the gate and doesn’t let you go. Low key, the man crushes bars here that could go toe to toe with Kendrick. Don’t think so? Listen for yourself.

London Birthed Him. Queens Raised Him. J. Cole Endorsed Him. We Love Him. This Is Bas!

BAS

Abbas Hamed (Bas) is a Queens, New York rapper who signed to J. Cole’s Dreamville Records and Interscope Records in early 2014. Since then, Bas has released two studio albums, Last Winner (April 29, 2014) and Too High to Riot (March 4, 2016). Recently, Bas has put out “Don’t Front”. The HARD HITTING single immediately shows the influence J. Cole has had on the rapper. He utilizes fast paced and intellegent lyrics that bring the listener into the clouds only to slam you back to reality with the equally effective instrumental. This is only the beginning for Dreamville’s own. Welcome, Bas!

Hitting over 1.7 Million plays in just over a month on Spotify alone is impressive for the up and coming artist.  Cutler has also recently garnered some attention for her features in Louis The Childs “Slow Down Love” and Chet Porter’s “Stay”. The future seems bright for this East Cost Young-Blood and we hope to hear more from her in the near future.
